Pappaw and Granny's Gift

J-man turned 8 last week and he got a new gift in the mail from Pappaw and Granny.

(In the last picture, you can see a little white dot beyond the dogs. That is M's shirt picking up the ball J hit. 35 yards on his first "real ball" stroke.)

Our 'Professional' Cellist

The picture is very poor BUT K is now a 'professional' cellist. She got invited by the Union Symphony Orchestra to sit in for an absent 3rd chair cellist. She was very nervous for several weeks but practiced hard and performed wonderfully. At 14, she was definitely the youngest member of the group.

('Professional' means she got paid!)

We are humbled and well pleased.
